Kim Swift, Senior Designer, Amazon
Kim Swift made her first splash in the game industry by playing a major role in the game Portal by Valve. Portal was one of the first 14 games added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. Since then, she’s worked on both Left 4 Dead titles and made a jump to Airtight Games where she was the Creative Director on Quantum Conundrum and Soul Fjord. In 2012, Kim was selected as one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Games & Apps.
Reena Agarwal, Principal Development Manager, Microsoft
Reena Agarwal is Principal Development Manager at Microsoft. Her current responsibilities are leading a Data Analytics team in Windows Azure. She spent the last several years in Bing developing, learning and applying emerging technology; and delivering world-scale services that meet the needs of variety of end users. This is where she developed her current passion in exploring petabytes of data to tell stories that then drive lasting user and business value. She completed her Bachelors in Technology with Honors in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in India. In her spare time she likes to enjoy time with her family enjoying food, skiing and biking.
Jennifer Davidson, PhD Candidate in Computer Science (Human Computer Interaction), Oregon State University:
Jennifer is a Computer Science PhD Candidate at Oregon State University. Her research focus is in human-computer interaction, specifically involving older adults in the design and development of open source software. Aside from research, she enjoys doing outreach with women in technology. She is a Systers member and is a Program Manager with ChickTech. In her free time, she’s a live music goer, beer enthusiast, and traveler.
Franziska Roesner – PhD Candidate in Computer Science and Engineering, University of Washington
Franziska Roesner is a PhD candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington. Her research interests are broadly in computer security and privacy. Specifically, her PhD work has focused on security and privacy in the domains of third-party web tracking, permission granting in modern operating systems (such as smartphones), embedded user interfaces, and most recently, emerging augmented reality platforms. She was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and a Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship, and she has done internships at Amazon, Microsoft Research, and Google. She received her BS in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. In her free time, she most enjoys reading, skiing, traveling, and cuddling with her cats.

Irina Frumkin, Principal Development Lead Bing of Microsoft
Irina joined Microsoft immediately out of college and has been with Microsoft for almost 11 years working on a wide of products including MSN Mobile, Photography, Social experiences, Xbox Live services and Bing. Irina has developed large scale Social Gaming services platform based on Azure, authored an application model for distributed systems and implemented a large scale real-time monitoring and diagnostic solution for Xbox 360 Services. Irina is currently leading a team in Bing that is developing a scalable rich data visualization and exploration platform for reorganizing terabytes of data. Irina graduated from University of Washington with a Computer Science degree. She resides in Seattle with her husband and two sons.
