Ramune Nagisetty

Wearable Technologies- Intel Labs

Ramune Nagisetty is a Principal Engineer in Intel Labs.  She currently leads research in wearable computing within the Sensing Systems Lab.  Ramune earned a BSEE from Northwestern University in 1991 and an MSEE specializing in solid state physics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1995. She joined Intel as a rotation engineer in 1995, and spent the next ten years working on process technology and transistor device physics within Intel’s Logic Technology Development group. She was the lead device engineer for Intel’s world class 65 nm technology, taking it from path finding through manufacturing transfer. From 2006-2009 she was the Director of Intel’s Strategic Technology Programs where she worked with other senior technologists and executives to understand opportunities and gaps in Intel’s future technology roadmaps.  She has authored nine technical publications and has ten issued or pending patents related to device physics, high performance process technology, and new usage models.  In 2008 she received the Emerging Leader Award from the Society of Women Engineers.

Ramune is also a songwriter and rock musician.  Her new rock trio, Rocket 3, is one of the top ranked indie rock bands in Portland.  Rocket 3’s debut album, Burn, reached #76 in college music radio charts and has been featured on KZME, KNRK, KOIN TV, and on the KINK local music spotlight.

Dana Zottola is a registered patent agent, experienced patent prosecutor, and the sole technical resource at Freitas, Angell & Weinberg.  She received an M.Eng. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University, where her research centered on hardware-based numerical algorithms.  After graduate school, she was hired by Intel, where she was responsible for design and execution of system level microprocessor aging evaluations including speed degradation analysis. Dana has over seven years of experience prosecuting hundreds of patents in fields diverse as digital rights management to semiconductor device design and manufacturing.   She evaluates patent portfolios, performs claim (infringement and validity) analyses and assists with expert reports relating to infringement, validity, and damages.  In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, swimming, as well as playing and coaching soccer.

Mark graduated from Harvard and Pitt and recently was awarded his first patent.

Jill joined Adobe Systems in June 2011 as Director of High-Tech Strategy. In this capacity, she leads strategic engagements with Adobe’s top tier clients in support of their efforts to develop B2C & B2B digital marketing strategies, which employ industry best practices and leverage interactive marketing technologies. Jill is also a contributor to Adobe thought leadership forums and frequent speaker at digital marketing conferences and High-Tech & Telco Industry events.

Prior to joining Adobe Systems, Jill held leadership positions at HP, Agilent and IBM.

She has expertise in market research & sizing, customer insights and predictive model development and business performance management strategies for consumer and commercial markets. During her tenure at HP, Jill directed efforts to integrate and extract intelligence from large and diverse data stores to deliver HP’s first comprehensive data repositories that supported the development of addressable market & consumer predictive models.

Charlie Isaacs has a track record of R&D leadership, starting with GTE (eventually became Verizon), where he served as Vice President of Engineering and headed a group of over 200 engineers working on Government and commercial applications. Following GTE, Mr. Isaacs held R&D leadership positions at Answer Systems (acquired by Computer Associates), and served as Chief Technology Officer at Broad Daylight (sold to Primus) and at Primus Knowledge Systems until Primus’ acquisition by ATG and then Oracle. Charlie served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Customer Officer at Kana Software, Inc. Charlie left KANA in 2009 and joined the Alcatel-Lucent/Genesys Global Innovations Group where he filed several SoLoMo (Social/Local/Mobile) patents and guided several Customer Service applications. Charlie joined Salesforce in 2012 and is Vice President and CTO for Customer Connection, primarily responsible for incubating and supporting customers connecting their products to Salesforce. Charlie has over 20 years of CRM experience. Mr. Isaacs holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from California Lutheran University. Charlie speaks worldwide about IoT, M2M, and Customer Service and has filed several patent applications at salesforce.com.

Adele Evans is a Sr. Program Manager of Strategic Customer Implementations at Oracle Corporation.  With broad experience in the technology industry, she has extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure and ecosystems.  During her 15 year career at Oracle, Ms. Evans has managed product releases, partner alliances, and strategic customer relationships.  Her focus has been on advancing corporate strategies through collaborative partnering.

During her 30 year career in Technology, Ms. Evans has worked for Aerospace, Mortgage, Telecom, and Hi Tech companies, providing best of breed solutions to complex requirements.  Her career history includes SW Engineer at McDonnell Douglas Space Division, System Administration and Sr. Manager at Loral Aerospace, Sr. Project Manager & Sr. Manager for System Administration at Sybase Inc., VP of Operations at start-up company IMX Inc., CIO at telecom company 1-800-Reconnex, and Sr. Program / Partner Manager at Oracle Corporation.

Ms. Evans graduated from California State University Fullerton with two Majors (Mathematics and Music), and two minors (Computer Science and French Literature).  She resides in Woodburn Oregon with her husband. She has two children, two dogs, and two cats.  In her spare time she enjoys hiking, photography, and playing pool.
