My mom is probably my biggest inspiration. She is with me even with my craziest ideas. Also my engineering teacher, Mr Baker, who introduced me to engineering. He has pushed me to find things out on my own and I am very grateful.

I come from a lower class family and will be the first in my family to graduate from high school. I have had many hardships in my life but that doesn’t stop me. I am more determined than ever to become something. I fell in love with engineering my sophomore year. My engineering teacher really hooked me and I found myself catching on quickly and helping others.

Future: In the future, I want to become a software engineer; a profession not normally seen for females.

Interesting Fact: I am the assistant editor of the yearbook and have become the go to person for solving computer problems, designing with Photoshop, etc.
