My mom and dad’s encouragement to find my own career that I’ll be happy in gave me the freedom to research and explore different fields until I finally stumbled upon computer science.
My best technical achievement to date would be my internship at OSU where I got to experience working with professors and college students in developing a computer program to aid in the analysis of wood-based composite materials.
Future: I hope in the future to participate in several travel abroad programs in college such as Engineers without Borders and see the world.
An interesting fact: I play viola in my school orchestra and we won the state championship last year.
My favorite thing about programming is how there is always multiple ways to do something and one can explore a variety of different paths so it’s always interesting.
