My most influential teacher in helping me pursue my interest in Engineering is Mr. Niebergall, I have known him since I was in 5th grade, playing on the same soccer team as his daughter. He has always been one of the reasons why I kept my interests in Engineering.

I am most proud of sticking with my engineering classes and also venturing out into welding because I’m often the only or one of very few girls in the classes. The part of the engineering field that has most drawn my attention has been interior design as well as architectural design, which I can see myself further pursuing.

Future: I see myself continuing to pursue some sort of engineering field in architecture, as well as playing soccer in college, I hope to major in drafting and possibly become an architect.

An interesting fact: I am both left handed and left footed. I have played soccer since I was in 1st grade. I am also very creative and have participated in making a mural for my school. I am also interested in sewing, particularly in quilting, for which I have won many 4H awards.
